Japan – a country has an important position not only in economy and politics in the world, but also in history and culture. Especially, Japanese culture resembles Vietnamese Culture.

After 4 months of community mobilization, the contest has received lots of feedbacks and interests from participants, press units and other organizations. The contest of May, June & July has received a total of 42.853 entries. After examining, the jury has selected and announced three 1^st prizes: 3 laptops; three 2^nd prizes: 3 cameras; three 3^rd prizes: 3 Ipods. 

In the writing contest of Japan, many contestants have sent their entries with deep knowledge and profound analysis of Japanese People, Japanese Culture, Food, Festivals, Kimono, Geisha etc. It’s very difficult for the Organization Board to select the best entry and award the special prize “A Japan trip for one week” cost 3000 USD and three prizes: 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize sponsored by Sharp, which are 1 TV LCD 32” cost 1.500 USD; 1 TV 21” cost 300 USD; 1 Fax machine cost 200 USD.

The Closing & Awarding Ceremony of Celebrating 35 years of Vietnam – Japan Diplomatic Relations “Vietnam – Japan Friendship songs” was held in 8^th Floor, Hall E University of Social Sciences and Humanities Hanoi VNU at 9.am 20/9/2008, has attracted many students from various universities.

“Japanese Culture Study” Contest was held to celebrate 35 years of Vietnam – Japan Diplomatic Relations (21/9/1973 – 21/9/2008). This is not only the important event of the frienship relations between Vietnam – Japan but also the chance for Vietnamese to understand more about Japanese culture & people. P&T Media JSC has co-ordinated with Vietnam–Japan Culture Exchanges Association & Vietnam-Japan Co-operation Centre (VJCC) to organize the contest with the support of Japan Embassy, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Committee of organizing activities of celebrating 35 years of Vietnam – Japan Diplomatic Relations.

The representatives of Japan Embassy, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front and other universities will attend the Awarding & Art Performance of celebrating 35 years of Vietnam – Japan Diplomatic Relations “Vietnam – Japan Friendship songs”  

In the closing ceremony, Mr Pham Dao lam – The representative of Organization Board said: “The contest has attracted many Vietnamese at the age of 7 to 79 with the interest of Japanese culture and participated under various forms: SMS to 8329, email, website www.ptgroup.vn or directly sending mail to the Organization Board. In the monthly contest, most of the contestants answered exactly 10 questions of Japanese Culture, besides; lots of participants expressed their interest of the contest through profound knowledge and interesting entries. The final contest: Writing contest with title of Japan, the Organization Board has received 235 entries under various forms, bringing different aspects of Japanese people & culture in order to prove their love to Japan. All the entries are the meticulous collections of Japanese cultures & diplomatic relations of Vietnam-Japan events, as well as the proper introduction of Japanese sciences, technology, culture, society and education, etc. Some entries have many pictures of Japan from several sources. Besides, that is also enjoyable experiences of individuals, showing the beauty of Japanese personality. Those entries are highly valuable Vietnamese heart to celebrate 35 years of Vietnam – Japan Diplomatic Relations
